This spring Hoover Reservoir Park Engagement session is so incredibly dreamy! As a photographer, we are always obnoxiously talking about, “beautiful golden light” and that’s exactly what this session was! But all of this beautiful scenery didn’t steal the show, Kristen and Matt totally did. Their love for one another was so refreshing to see. I am thrilled to be capturing this special time in their lives.

I’ve known Kristen since high school and always thought of her as the sweetest person. You know, if you could go back in time and tell yourself who you should be friends with in high school, I’d be like, uhhh go be friends with Kristen!! Any ways, she’s met her perfect match in Matt. I was so excited when she asked me to be her wedding photographer for so many reasons. But, one main reason is that they look so incredibly happy together. Before I met Matt, I told Kristen that in all of the photos I’d seen of them, Matt has such a contagious smile. And after meeting him, and photographing them together, that statement is so incredibly true.

I’m so happy we were able to shoot in such a variety of environments at Hoover Reservoir Park. I went into this session with the hopes of doing so, but was literally blown away by how much variety the park had to offer. I adored so many images from this session. It was so hard to decide but here’s some of my absolute favorites!
