It was a lovely summer evening for this Cincinnati Ault Park engagement with Lisa and Pat! I always loved visiting Ault Park when I lived down in Cincinnati. I always admire all of the gorgeous homes while driving into the park and I absolutely love the gardens and pavilion! We walked all over the park taking advantage of so many lovely locations. But also to burn some time before sunset. Silly me often forgets that Cincinnati has a lot of hills, unlike boring flat Columbus. So, sunset took a bit longer to sink just below the trees at the top of the pavilion. But it was so worth the wait!
Lisa and Pat are both incredibly kind people who are so much fun to be around. Lisa and Pat both work in recruiting and met while working at Robert Half’s Columbus office. But it wasn’t until Lisa was getting ready to take the next step in her career (and Pat found out that she was leaving) that Pat realized he had to ask her out on a date! Over dinner, these two recruiters basically interviewed each other. I mean, can you imagine a first date with someone who interviews people for a living?! Seems a bit intimidating to me!! But for these two it was a perfect match. They bonded over a topic you’d never guess: public bathroom etiquette! Yes, they two want to see you wash your hands (and use soap) before you exit!! This seemingly strange shared passion called for a second date… and the rest is history!
I can’t wait to meet their families and celebrate with these two on their October wedding day! And for now, here’s just a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
