Samantha and Zack’s Ohio Statehouse wedding was really a dream! I’ve taken my fair share of bride and groom portraits outside the grounds and I’ve even done a few styled wedding shoots at the statehouse. I can now say, nothing compares to what it’s like capturing a full wedding day at the Ohio Statehouse!

This historic venue was the place Zack proposed to Samantha and they knew pretty quickly it would also be the exact place where they would tie the knot! This wedding is full of classic elements that fit the venue perfectly. The black and white color palette as well as the traditional, yet modern details, are truly timeless.

I always find it so special when couples write their own vows. During the ceremony, Samantha and Zack read them aloud and it was incredibly touching! I loved hearing Samantha rave about how wonderful the day was going — these two and their families were an absolute joy to work with!!
