When Jordan and Mapi decided to tie the knot, they chose the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, Italy—a place that truly feels like a dream. Their wedding was held at the picturesque Hotel Villa Cipressi, a venue that exudes old-world charm and modern elegance all in one. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be an unforgettable celebration.
One of the first events I had the privilege of photographing was their welcome dinner cruise. As the sun began to set over the serene waters of Lake Como, Jordan, Mapi, and their guests enjoyed a relaxed evening on the lake, with the golden hues of sunset casting a magical glow. It was the perfect prelude to what would be a weekend full of love, laughter, and stunning views.
Their wedding itself was intimate yet vibrant, with a modern twist. The design reflected their personalities—playful, chic, and full of life. Bold colors and contemporary patterns brought a sense of fun and energy, making every detail pop. As food industry professionals, Jordan and Mapi made sure their guests were treated to the very best of Italian cuisine, from expertly crafted dishes to mouthwatering fresh mozzarella—an absolute highlight.
One of the most memorable moments was the couples' portraits on the lake. We took a private boat ride, where the tranquil waters of Lake Como provided the perfect backdrop for some truly magical shots. And then there were the drone photos—honestly, some of my all-time favorites. The sweeping views of the lake, combined with the landscape, made for a surreal setting that I will never forget.
Capturing this destination wedding was an absolute honor. Jordan and Mapi’s love for each other, along with their incredible attention to detail and passion for hospitality, made this wedding feel like a true celebration of both love and Italy’s unparalleled beauty.
