It’s now been a little over three weeks since our baby girl, Ella Miyoko-Lee Ando, entered the world. She was born on her exact due date, August 7th, 2016, pretty crazy as only like 5 percent of babies are born on their due dates! I started having contractions around 10 a.m. and we left for the hospital a little after 12:30pm. Everything progressed extremely fast and she was born a screamin’ healthy baby at 6:40pm!

She’s precious and I love watching her little personality grow more and more each day (right now, she’s laying here on her boppy pillow smirking at me, I can tell she’s fighting sleep). Even though I’m tired, I love being her momma and I’m cherishing all of the little moments we share while she’s still a little tiny human I can snuggle in my arms.

Also, I have to say that we are two very lucky girls to have this man in our lives. He’s been taking amazing care of us and always keeping a smile on my face (I’ve already seen Ella giggle at him, too).

I’m looking forward to my next wedding September 17th and a crazy busy October. I’m working with a lot of really fun, sweet couples and I’m really excited for all of the 2017 weddings I’ve booked this month 🙂 In the meantime, back to maternity leave!
