Ellen and Bobby’s wedding day at The Marmalade Lily was a beautiful and sunny Fall day! From the florals created by the venue, to their book themed decor, this was both a gorgeous and laid back day. Ellen wore a stunning light gray gown and Bobby rocked a burgundy tux. The day couldn’t have been more picturesque!

I really loved getting to know Ellen and Bobby throughout this process. There’s something about watching them interact and witnessing their love that just makes you smile. Ellen shared this perfect statement about their relationship:

“We love to road trip and get outdoors! We hike and kayak and explore. Getting outdoors has always been something that has brought us together. Last year, we vacationed to the Oregon Coast. We decided we were going to do this big hike to a hidden beach and have a picnic there. So we loaded up on pastries and snacks and set off. But Bobby, being a Type One Diabetic, kept dropping low. After two hours of starting and stopping on the trail, the sun had started to set and he had eaten all of our snacks! So we turned back, to get closer to our car and our emergency supplies. Instead, we watched the sun set into the Pacific Ocean from a much more accessible beach. It doesn’t seem like much, but it is really representative of our relationship- we push each other further, we have each other’s back, we go with the flow, and we have faith that if one adventure doesn’t work out, there’s always another. It’s not about the destination or the journey for us; it’s who you travel with”.
