I’m so grateful to have had the honor to photograph Amber and Dan’s wedding at The Raddison and McHales’s The Grand Ballroom. It was a ceremony of blended religious traditions, beautifully written vows and two really incredible people joining together for a lifetime of love and adventure.
We had the opportunity to travel around to a few locations for photos following the ceremony. It was insanely hot outside so we were fortunate to have had the A/C on the party bus to cool down! But the good news, you’d never be able to tell it felt like 90 some degrees by looking at the photos! Amber, Dan, and the bridal party were all such troopers. They were all so easy to work with, even under the weather circumstances! The best part was that we even had time to stop back at the hotel for getting ready, round 2! Amber changed into her gorgeous lehenga and we headed down to the riverfront for a few more photos.
The reception at The Grand Ballroom was certainly an evening not to be forgotten. Greg Lee and The Chuck Taylors did an amazing job setting the atmosphere and they are just SO good. Fast forward to toasts, I totally teared up as Amber shed a tear while her father played the guitar and sang to her. This family had me all emotional! But in a good way of course! Amber’s sister played the piano and sang Amber and Dan a totally not cheesy, but legit love song that she wrote. Did I mention that these families are incredibly musically inclined? Yep. Such an amazing evening to witness! One of my favorite moments was when it was Amber’s turn to take the mic. She surprised Dan with signing him, “You and I” by Lady Gaga and… she killed it!
We loved every minute of our time with you, Amber and Dan! It was an absolute honor to capture your wedding day. I’m so excited for you to see all the photos, but for now, here are just a few of my many favorites!
