Last weekend, I was inspired to give my website a fresh updated look — you know, when you look at something for too long and it gets a bit boring? I think that’s what happened, it was time for something new! My design friends helped me custom water color paint the website header, it kind of reminds me of distant mountains or the ocean tide washing over sand. Need I say, I need more water color painting in my life — it’s so relaxing!

With the official launch of my website redesign, I think this is an appropriate time to tell you all a little more about myself. The past year has been rather eventful! My husband and I got married, relocated from Cincinnati to Columbus, completely renovated our home, and started new jobs. And, the most exciting news —  my husband and I are expecting our first (a little girl) and a few short weeks! This final month of pregnancy has been exactly what people tell you it will be. I’m uncomfortable sitting just about anywhere and the extra weight makes my legs tingly and numb just about every time I walk. But, it’s all totally worth it! We are definitely ready to meet Miss Ella the first week of August (or the sooner the better!)

In the meantime, I hope to get a few recent weddings up on the blog and share some wedding advice for all you newly engaged couples! Stay tuned and I hope you all enjoy the new look 🙂
